I’m drawn to stories already in motion—especially the ones hidden in everyday materials.

Instead of starting from a blank canvas, I paint directly into books and magazines, layering bold, textured imagery over printed pages. I make expressive portraits and vibrant desserts that interrupt polished surfaces with something unmistakably human—rewriting familiar narratives with my own hand.  Growing up in a family of traditional artists, I inherited a respect for craft, but my work pushes those traditions somewhere new. By responding to what's already there—sometimes playing with it, sometimes covering it completely—I create a dialogue between past and present, surprise and memory, history and innovation.I’m not just making images; I’m collaborating with the ongoing history of images, and my own family history, forging a new chapter that belongs to me. I’m innovating ingredients and recipes from the past into the future.
